In this time of uncertainty it is all the more important to keep praying. Whatever the circumstance, whether self-isolating or working hard to help others, we can be praying. Even when we are washing our hands we can use these twenty seconds to say the Lord’s Prayer.

As we travel this unknown and unexpected path together,”may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him ,so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit”. Romans 15; v 13.

Keep us, Good Lord,

Under the shadow of your mercy,

At this time of uncertainty and distress.

Sustain and support the anxious and the fearful

And lift up all who are brought low

That we may rejoice in your comfort,

Knowing that nothing can separate us from

Your love in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen
